Whilst at Jason Bruges Studio, I worked on an idea for a 3 way lenticular node for an art work outside a university building.
The 3 way lenticular node was designed in such a way that from different vantage points on the site a person could see a different pattern. Each plane colour corresponded to 1 pattern. It was a tricky balance trying to achieve the viewing angles for the site and making sure that the rotation angles were good enough to see each image clearly.
Unfortunately due to clarity we decided on 2 patterns for 2 key viewing angles. But I am making my own prototype for proof of concept for 3 viewing angles.
The final artwork will be installed this year (2018)
