I attended the Animatronic Institute in Hollywood in 2015 for 5 weeks. I constructed a walking bipedal robot shed, which would have retractable arms and walking legs with a body that lifts off the ground. I controlled all of the servos from Cinema4d in real-time and built an interface within it to easily animate movements. I used a Pololu microcontroller with 18 channels to attached each servo. The robot shed called WIP is still a work in progress for me, it requires a face and outer shell and I’d like it to talk to me.
